Reaction Technology
Avazzia has redefined microcurrent technology to deliver personalized pain relief therapy. Our FDA-cleared devices enable interactive changes of the waveform in response to changes in the electrical properties of the patient’s tissue. This is the key differentiator between Avazzia and all other microcurrent products.
Avazzia’s Reaction Technology measures and provides objective feedback about the stimulated tissue’s relative conductivity. The device first measures the tissue’s initial conductivity. It then continually measures the conductivity changes during stimulation as well as the rate at which the conductivity is changing. Finally, it signals when the conductivity has stopped changing, indicating treatment of that area is complete.
The Avazzia output waveform changes with the changes in the underlying tissue conductance.

This automated variation ensures that no two impulses generated from the device exhibit the same waveform.
From the initial reading and throughout the treatment, the Avazzia device detects these changes and indicates relative tissue reaction responses. It communicates the tissue’s condition and its changes with the user with tones and lights and with numerical display in devices with an LCD screen.
The benefits of Reaction Technology include:
- Personalized, customized pain-relief therapy each time
- Specificity and variability ensure continued efficacy
- Objective tissue physiology data
- No body accommodation to the continually changing signals
- Safety and compliance
Microcurrent
Microcurrent therapy is a non-invasive treatment option that uses low-level electrical currents to alleviate pain. It has been used to treat various types of pain, including musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, and postoperative pain. Microcurrent therapy is based on a multi-prong approach and works by stimulating the body’s natural pain-relieving mechanisms such as increasing endorphin release, increasing blood flow, and stimulating C fibers.
C fibers are nerve fibers that transmit pain signals slowly, and it is believed that microcurrent therapy can help to stimulate these fibers, which in turn can activate the body’s natural pain relief mechanisms.
Microcurrent therapy has been shown to be a safe and effective treatment option for pain relief. Its non-invasive nature and lack of side effects make it an attractive option for patients who are seeking a non-addictive, drug-free approach to pain management.
